I thought I was considering the scaling but The devil is in the details! Because this is not my first machine (but is my first Kflop) I just scanned the information and used what seemed to make sense.
I set up the Inverse distance at the 1 inch setup in the example which I intuitively thought would have applied to a KCNC setup.
I proceeded to the KCNC which is set up in inches and I thought all would be roses. I finally figured out that the KCNC wants the .001 inch increments and not the 1 inch in the example.
Thanks,
AZ

The example of 1000 full steps per inch was exactly how my machine is set up. 5 turn per inch screws with direct drive. So I set it to 250 and the motor only growled but didn't move. What I found was the setting actually had to be set to 0.250. Did I miss something?
